XN 360
I love these aha experiences, where one is sincerely surprised, because the sound is so good at so few money. to What have I then call that experience I just have had with these Xavian XN 360s? Because with a set-price at 59.900, it is well just strict enough to call ... ... them cheap or a bargain. Still it is one aha experience, because I have never heard a loudspeaker be playing like this, and I have listened to more very expensive loudspeakers. XN 360 puts rather new standard for what one can pull out of a loudspeaker. Do you believe you me? Thus go yourself out and listen, or try them at home with you. Thus not said that the fact the world's best loudspeaker, for it is a question of personal taste. But it is completely safe with at the distinguished company, among the very best ones. .
The construction is 3-road's with ”top of the line” unities from Scan Speak’s Revelator series. 2 pieces 7” bass, one 4” medium-tone, and one 1” ring-treble. The price for the unities only makes up over a fourth of the loudspeaker's price! Apart from the fine unities everything as possible is loudspeakers well-consideredly, and tested to the finger-points for that safe saw optimum a result as possible. The divide-filters have filled with few, but quite good components, and the internal kabling comes from Supra. Medium-tone and treble sit at their own cabinet at the top out against the front, and the rest of the cabinet is split up up into 7 chambers, as acoustically work together in order to produce deep and stiff bass. The bass-gate is at the bottom, and the sound/the air come out between the bottom and the black pedestal. The cabinet is dimensioned to be playing all the way down to 25 Hzes, and I am near thinking that XN 360 actually does it! I tried with a test-record to hear where far they went down, and at 30 Hzes there was full level, and at 20 Hzes the level was more lower but still audible. Saw, they can play Deep bass! The cabinet on this loudspeaker is large! Enough to that that will frighten most females from letting them come into the living room (where am I however glad to have my own listen-space!). All records are collected in a groove, and not just glued in a gering. to De-stivnings there had by all accounts be plenty of. The cabinet is in any case completely dead when one knocks on it. The weight is up on just under 40 kgs.! That is probably due to also the moderate-material that among other things consists of bitumen. It hasn't been possible to look into the loudspeaker, since all unities and the record to the data terminals are sealed. The front is narrow and can precisely accommodate the two big fat men across, and slants backwards in an angle on about 15 degrees, thus the unities are playing in correct phase. The All the way round along the front, is the edge slanting, thus the front brushes itself along the unities. This is also done in order to avoid phase-mistakes and standing waves. This loudspeaker is high and deep, and that might be cause of problems placing it at a normal room on 15-20 sqm. But no, that is no problem. At a placing with 30-35 cm to the back wall, this an a little raisedly, but gave very stiff bass. If I moved farther out them at the space and denser on the listening position, the level fell in the bass. In return ”niveauet” fell in the perspective also. That is a compromise, but I go away XN 360 closer on the back wall where the perspective is entirely on place. As long as the bass is so exact and stiff like it I here experience, saw peace be with the raised level!
The finish is in a class apart. Leak, leak cherry-veneer that is mirrorred with the greatest precision. Other prospectses are: Walnut, maple and fugleøje-maple. If you have other wishes to the finish, it can also let itself do against a small increased price. It simply is a class this. The small distance-pieces between the bottom and the pedestal, and spikes’s are made with a piece of jewellery-similar finish. If I didn't know more any better, I'd think that that was silver. The data terminals aren't gilt - they are platinered! And that is WBT’'s best data terminals. The small ones=”plader” ones that is used if you do not want to the biwire loudspeakers, are made in silver and also are from WBT. Yuck, where is it just delicious! Down on the side you find a badge with the loudspeaker's name: TrecentoSessanta (Italian for 360), that refers to the philosophy about spreading the sound mostly possibly.
The unities' finish now doesn't let anything either back to wish, everything fits perfectly, and the alu-chassis’ers are in top class. The basses are lowered into the front, the medium-tone sits on the outside of the front, a little in out the treble's chassis, which is also lowered into the front. Note the screws' placement on all unities, and peeper you correctly close to, you notice following letters round along with the screw's head
How player did see a loudspeaker in absolute top class? relaxedly and U-tense, so simply it can be said. Yes, that was that test. Well, not? You want to know more about this fantastic loudspeaker? OK, you get a little more. Let us take the logical road, and start from scratch. As an earlier written then this loudspeaker delivers stiff bass. That I forgot to mention, were that that is unusually stiff bass. Present you that a large hand comes out of the bass-gate, and gets a grip on the air your listen-space, and moves this that a stamp in exactly the same time as the unities dictates. See, that is stiff bass! And it is completely unimportant whether the loudspeaker stands close to the back wall or inside a corner, and the level thus rises. On ”normale” loudspeakers would this placement completely destroy the precision, but not on XN 360 thanks to ”hånden”, which dictatorially controls the air at your listen-space. Do I need to mention the the-taljering in the bass? OK, saw rotten puddle. But, everything is there just. The bass drum gives you one stomach-puster after the other, and the basgang shakes your body like an earthquake. It is completely scary that this loudspeaker controls the bass-area. Oh, where is it good
Medium-tone and treble ... I do not at all know to what I have write! That just is so perfect. The good Revelator-unities come to their full dish here, and they are exploited completely. Mate to airy, exact and detailed reproduction have you really to look long for. Voices put you at meeting in the most natural way, you stay almost in doubt that that is a loudspeaker that is playing. Crisp, dare, rough, hot, frighteningly and stretchingly, all facets are along. It is absolute top class this. Again there is the the-taljering without comparison. Everything comes through, and then there is air in between all the things in the sound picture, thus you think that that is a lie. That is the most homogeneous loudspeaker I have ever listened to. I want to go so far as to say that this isn't a ”høj taler”, but a music-mediator. Because it isn't just high talking, but arranges the music as for that was intended. apropos U-tense and relaxed, it really was the first words for that occurred to me, when I listened to this ”musikformidler” for the first time. I put a record on, and turned a little up, which actually was plenty because of this music-mediator's sensitivity and dynamic ability. I enjoyed it, and again my other self tore records out of drawers and down from shelves, because I could get enough not at all. Then the time came to where the music-mediator had be pressed. I turned up a nice drop volume, and got an answer that I didn't at all possibly. think It retorted again!: ”Er that everything you do have? Come now. Give me a little more! ” Want to you have more, I thought, while I turned up the potentiometer in a dangerous position, you have get more. What a damn, again did I get an answer in kind: ”Helt honestly, is everything you have? Because I can easily handle more, give myself now all you have! ”. But I am a chicken, and I am fond of my ears far too. Thus I gave lostly, and was sitting back with the lower jaw hanging down on the chest, and thought: That is a lie! That simply is lie. Nobody ... no loudspeaker to home use can stand abuse in that degree. But yes, now there is one that can do. Stop all the way up, where is it however relaxed and U-tense in its communication. Perspective isn't a word I want to use here, because you are looking directly into the optag-space/the concert hall. There isn't any mention of a perspective, but a wall to wall and floor to loft window-front that stands openly, and gives you view/insight to everything! I sensed at no time a limitation in it - on the recording - intended spaces. Everything is along, without exception. A thing that first occurred to me after most of the text to this test was written, were that the word neutral has never fallen me into connection with XN 360. Is it neutral? No, that is it really not! The big fat man I have already mentioned, and only that pulls it away from being neutral. Apart from it medium-tone and treble are actually also stressed. That wasn'thing I noticed from first but something that in the course of time crept up under the skin on a pleasant way pleasant way. Because it isn't hot or cold stressed. The nearest self can come, are natural or musically be-toned. highly Fidelity! Does it make sense?
How does one justify a price at 59.900, for a set of loudspeakers? That is what I court do not know, but one court know I: If you want to have sounds in this class, you possibly over 100.000, have to go a completely different price range, possibly over 100.000,. Seen in that light, the price on these beautiful and fantastic music-mediators from Xavian can maybe well be justified. The only thing who torments me and that I probably get to see again. music-mediators back that I probably never to see again, are to see again. yuck, where may the hifi-life however be unfair.
